10/19/13 Storytelling, Engagement & Activism for Change (SEA Change) Panel

Location: Hollywood Film Festival

Beth Karlin, Director of CUSA's Transformational Media Lab, will be speaking at the Storytelling, Engagement and Activism for Change (SEA Change) panel. The discussion will cover concepts for story development and production and introduce a framework for designing and assessing film campaigns. Participants will synthesize academic theory, empirical research, and the lived experience of storytellers and activists, with an eye towards exposing what they know, exploring what they don’t, and leveraging connections to maximize impact.
